Ractive Mufflers How Good Are They???
how good are ractive mufflers. how do they sound. cause i am gonna have a custom exhaust made and i havent quite decided what muffler yet any help is appreciated.. and how much power do you loose when you have crush bends compared to mandrel bends??

I cannot comment on the muffler but about the bends.
 Because your RS is NA still I assume, those bends will or should help keep your torque curve nice in the mid range. Mandrel bends will results in better flow so I'm guessing you might loose a little back pressure but not by much. It'll sure help out overall flow at high engine RPMs though, I assume technically.I just need to get a car so my knowledge can bee met with experience...

IMO any so called "performance" part that is sold @ pepboys you should stay away from it.

The mufflers flow well, being straight through, but sound like ass. I have a straight through on my car with no cats and it pulls hard on upper RPM now rather than dying out like it did before.

I agree i have a magna flow and it sounds good and pulls hard too!!
