low

well they are actually one of the easiest cars to moderatly lower. up front you just turn a not to lower it and out back a simple cut spring or proper lowering spring can be put in very easily. If you want extreme then you must cut a notch in it and move it a spline - there are websites out there that explain it, i can post links if you really want . And i suggest you do the shock lowering mod to get more travel when you lower, this is also explained more else where. Good luck, first gens are the bomb!

Hello, in response to the question...you can lower 3G's about 4-4.5 inches and still maintain good ride quality. I had KYB's all around, Ground Control Coil Overs in the rear, Lightspeed front and rear sway bars, 24mm torsion bars, adjustable panhard rod, OPM or OMP front camber plates. I did one modification by threading more of the front shoch shafts and cutting off the excess threads in order to get more travel out of them. I had 16x7's and had no rubbing problems. But the torsion bars were a little stiff for daily driving. The car handled like it was on rails but even with the camber plates, I wore out 2 sets of tires in a matter of weeks! But I swapped out all of the road race parts and installed air cylinders and 17's...now my car can tuck tire and drag mud flaps when aired out. So, you can go as low as you want, contrary to popular belief!!!
