Yes, you can put any D series manual transmission on there. Put you will have to do some modifications such as cutting the hole on the firewall to install the clutch padle and clutch cylinder.

I believe the 92-95 EX (D16Z6) has the best gearing of the D series, but before you put that in, I recommend you to change the final drive gear and swap a LSD in there if you have the money. This way you will safe alot of labor later on.

I personally do not recommend to do this swap if you are paying someone for the job because you will safe alot of time and money by just selling the car and buy one with a manual tranny.

If you want to know more about auto-to-manual swap, there are lots of threads in this forum you can find regarding to some details, put you will most likely descover the problem as you go.

tofuboy, i have a manual car now, but my backup motor has a tranny on it. it doesn't matter now because i am going to buy a jdm 1.5 vtec soon, with a zc tranny, shorter gearing yet cable actuated so i'll keep you all posted, all motor 1.5 here i come (with 10.5:1 and high lift cams)

oh and what would i need to hit 150-200 hp with all motor d15b(vtec)? cuz thats what im planning on
