'hot' prelude won't start
Newbie here, need input. I've owned my '87 Prelude since '89. (Yes, I'm old, and yes, I love it!) This summer it has decided to have heat stroke. If driven for less than 20 min then parked for 30 min or so, (think lunch break), it won't start. If allowed to cool down, it starts fine. This time frame varies with the heat of the day and we are up to 104 at noon now.
Anyone else have this problem and how did you solve it? So far, my garage has not been able to dx the problem. Thanks |

I don't have the same problem and i don't know much at all about cars just what im taught by friends but i know that with preludes the fan turns on alot. like after you park it will go on after like 5 min and stay on for a while. so just a thought that maybe your fan isn't turning on or staying on long enough .....or shit can't remember i donno it was just a though im sure youve already checked into it or the problem has nothing to do with that but i thought i'd waste your time hahha j/k sorry

We finally have it dx'd down to the main fuel relay. Now we just have to find it. We know it is hidden up under the dash, but haven't gotten to it yet. Any clues?
