Looking For a Good Ready To Run Set

Im looking to get my first rc car. I was looking into getting a Tamiya kit, but Im not sure. Do they come with a remote and prepainted body?

How are electrics able to handle driving on lets say a baseball field?

BTW, Im wanting either the Focus WRC or Impreza WRC kit.

yes, they run like 1/2 hour. but they don't go on dirt,

but the fun is to build your car.

I was actually thinking of getting an HPI RS4 and then finding a body I like.

Do HPI's burn their clutches fast?

depends what you use it for...like if its just for cruising around on Sundays it'll be ok, but if you use it for all out racing you could burn it in a week just like any other gas car...most important thing is to keep it clean. That is the biggest pain about gas cars, you have to constantly work on them, keep up with maintenance otherwise it gets really expensive, for every hour of runtime, you have an hour of maintenance.

if this you first car.. i won't recommend a nitro r/c.. instead go w/ an electric.. they much easier as a "my first r/c car"..
w/ an electric you don't have to worry about tuning the car, cluthes, more tuning.. etc

if you wanna run the car basically on a dirt path ( but not a buggy).. go get a HPI RS4 Rally

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXMN62&P=7

you do have to do things like paint the body.. but thats sorta part of the "fun"...

once you get more experience w/ these things, then get a nitro car..

good luck
