Looking for good brakes for 03
I'm looking for brakes that will actually stop the 03 Camry (4-cyl.). Mine has the classic mushy brakes as does my 92. I really dislike them. I looked at TRD but they only sell their brake pads for the rear brakes and I have drums on the back so no help there. I was thinking along the lines of a little larger in diameter rotors, maybe even cross-drilled, and good front brake pads. Any info would be appreciated.

If you're interested in a mod for brakes...
I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I found a posting on another forum which gives good photos and specs on a brake mod (link below). This mod is for changing out the smaller discs for larger ones. There are postings around which describe a conversion from drums to discs, but I've also seen postings where those who did the conversion regretted it. Hope this helps. Parmenides3
