Im going ZC!!!

Hey everyone its me "91blksi", i forgot my password to me aol screen name so im on a new 1. Anyways im buying a ZC motor next week for 300 DOLLARS!!!!!! 35K ON THE MOTOR!!!, its a sohc zc though. Whats the difference between DOHC ZC AND SOHC!?. Would i be able to beat sohc vtec's?? Whats a better motor??? SHould i buy it!!??

sohc is just a lil higher compression than a stock si motor. Not really worth swapping a d16a6 for a sohc zc. Save you money and get something else.

Hey man, from experience, I would say to stay away from anything zc. They are just hard motors to work on. It's a pretty easy swap, and it's cool at first, but if you want to upgrade any internals, or if you have to replace any parts, it's tough to find parts. Even the D16's DOHC from the 1G integras don't share many parts with them. I would say for a better swap, and one that you'll be happier with, go B-series or do a SOHC V-tec. I wish I had, isn't that depressing? Oh well, there's always the next project car!
