Talking Hey Everybody, I'm back!!

Hey everybody,
It feels good to be back on AF. I've been away for a good 9 months because of school but now I can dedicate 2 months of time to my passion for model buidling again. I just completed Tamiya bmw Z3. I didn't do to many modifications to it because I am still trying to perfect my basic model skills before i go back to working with styrene sheets and putty. I first chose to build the roadster with the top down because i think most soft top convertibles don't look good when their tops are up. Then I bought a can of tamiya chrome yellow for the body. Next i sanded down the mouth on the front lip of the roadster to make the mouth a little bigger. I did the same with the area around the fog lamps becuase i didn't want the fog lamps when i built it because i thought it made the model look less agressive. Then i used the spoiler from the newest Tamiya celica kit because it fit the shape of the roadster. Also i felt the model looked incomplete without a spoiler intacted. Next i went out to buy these new rims from the hobby store neat me. They're made by XS. The rims that came with the kit were very ugly. Well once again, I don't have a digital camera at hand. But when i get one I'll post the pics. It's nice to be back again. TTY guys later. :o)
