i'm biased.....
i see alot of b-series swapped into that style of civic....
so it must not to too much $$$

so what you looking to spend??

you can get a b16(~160hp@fly) for ~$1000
or you can get a b18c1(~180hp@fly) for ~$3000

others????

my best 60 ft. was a 2.4
that's bone stock, and my first time racing....
but with some bfg drag radials, you can get that down to 2 seconds

now you'd have this motor in a car that is 200lbs lighter...

that link above... has the b18c1 swap for $3100 and here's the quote from their site

"Complete changeover package. Engine, transmission, mounts, axles, engine accessories, linkage, ECU, wiring, and all manifolds. Optional LSD transmission. Direct bolt in for 92-95 Civic, 94-01 Integra. Semi-direct bolt in for 96+ Civics. Will bolt into 88-91 Civics and 91-93 Integras with proper engine mount kit."

suspension??
i'd plan on upgrading that anyway....
~$300 for some coilovers and ~$300 for struts....

thanks alot

whats "LSD transmission" i'm a real newb when it comes to this lol

"Semi-direct bolt in for 96+ Civics" - does this mean it will be difficult to do the swap?

how much time does it take you to get to 60mph?

also if it isn't to much to ask how much do you think it be for me to get the engine put in?

Limited Slip Differential
its basically like posi-traction for front wheel drive...
prevents torque steer, which will happen with this motor!!

swap shouldn't be 'difficult', may just have to buy a mounting kit(again...relatively cheap) here's a good place for them... http://www.hasport.com/

0-60 takes approx. 7 seconds in my car...

i've never done a swap... but if you are gonna have it done at a shop... then expect to pay at least $60/hour for the job...
basically, i'd have another $1000 saved up for the install if you are not doing it yourself or getting hooked up...

hth

ya... new exhaust....
jdm 4-1 header $400
2.5 inch cat $175
then exhaust of your choice... $300-$500

i personally would never put anything over 16 inch wheels on any honda powered car... 15's are fine!

MY stock quarter mile was 15.8...(i beat a mustang GT)
the car itself is a 15.5 second car...
and i've seen people hit LOW 15's in stock gs-r's (15.2 - 15.3)

haha...no shit....i do have aim( see the little "AIM buddy" below!!)....i'm cool with this tho.....
i'm just doin shit around the house, and checking back at the comp. now and then.. (just got done cleanin' the grill )
