Biggest tranny cooler available

I want the biggest cooler I can find for my AOD now that it has a 2800 converter in it. I currently have the B&M 19,000gvw cooler. Is this big enough?

Dude, I got the same one in my car. Been running it for 2 years now, no problems. You know my deal and such, so you knows its legit. Although you can't have too much cooling when unwanted heat is an issue. I just got your e-mail, I'll get in touch with you later about installing the new one.
later.

Yeah I thought the 19,000gvw was big enough, but HiTech (tranny shop) highly recommended getting a bigger one to go along with the new radiator I got. I was thinking of running both coolers at once, does anyone know if this is possible?

Both coolers as far as the one you bought and the one in your radiator? Yes you can, you can run as many coolers as you want. I also would use B&Ms remote tranny filter too.

Yes, good idea! It would help keep the tranny free of debris if the converter ever broke up.

How much is a remote filter and where can I find one? I want to order it soon because I have to drop the valve body to install an "A" servo so it wouldn't hurt to add a new filter when I put it all back together!

You can pick up a Perma-Cool kit from Summit for about $80. It also includes a temp gauge to moniter trans temp. Or you can get the Summit kit for $30, minus the gauge.

When I had a built AOD I was had a trans temp guage. Definetly worth the small investment to keep an eye on things.
