Dubs everywhere?

I have seen alot of Hummers and other cars on eBay outfitted with Dub City spinners. I just wanted to know how they do that? I see that you can get extra sets of Spinners that look like they just fit together with no construction neccesary but i'm not sure how people fit those axles into maisto models that don't have a place for them. Is it really easy to put them in? Also if I wanted to remove an axle like on a Hotwheels car how would I do it? I dont really feel like messing with the chassis much....

I have seen the ones you are speaking of. They look pretty neat, but I can't see paying that much for a modified diecast. Most of the cars you can buy for 20 bucks or less and then the DUBs are usually 3-4 bucks for a set of four. I wonder why people are paying 30+ bucks for these, when they could make them and save money.

Outfitting a diecast with DUBs is easy, but most of the diecast cars end up not being steerable. (meaning you can not turn the front wheels at all) They might be able to roll, but they will not turn.
