Basically which engine would i be able to get and get in there the cheapest...with tranny. I can't do the work myself because I am at my dads and all my tools and everything are where i live.

The cheapest way would be to put another si engine in there, i'd personally go with a b16 since it's already MPFI

the Si would be the cheapest but there not the greatest thing in the world, i agree go with either a ZC....bolts right in...or with little modification a b16...

Yes i want a b16 in it at some point as well however funds are low at the moment. I will have about 1000 to get an engine tranny and have it put in. I was thinking either 88-91 zc with engine and tranny for 600 from nippon motors or a stock si engine.

D16Z6.
Cheap, peppy, easy to get parts to fix.
