Celica Questions

Having just fried my GS-R engine after the many headaches it gave me, Im switching emblems from the H to the T. I found an 85 Celica GT and had a few questions before I went ahead and bought it. What is the horsepower (at the crank) and displacement of the engine. the stock 1/4 mile time if anyone knows it and what types of performance options do I have with the car. What types of swaps are possible and if the engine is a good candidate for boosting. Thanks for the info.

its either 2.2 liters or 2.4 liters not sure.

car has 117hp and 130ish tq at the crank.

high 17's from the factory, now most of the 85's are old and beaten up, more than likely you will get one that is not in factory condition. my 105hp 1997 celica ST is faster than my friend's 85 celica GT. the GTS is the same thing as the GT only with more factory options

you can get really really good power out of it but it will cost you a lot of money.
