Got a Subaru

Here is the newest addition to the garage. 2002 Subaru Impreza RS. It handles very nicely, easy to control at the very edge of adhesion, takes less skill to keep it on the road then the cobra IT just needs a bit more power, though it doesnt have any problems with coffee can civics. Any simple mods out there?

IMO a rear sway bar is the best mod you can add.

check out www.scoobymods.com for some DIY mods, or search www.nasioc.com

I prob will never own a Japanese import but I do have to admit. Most of the Subarus do look nice.

Yes, 2.5NA rather than 2.0 turbo. I like to call it the "No Replacement for Displacement" Edition Impreza

Since it's based on the same block, I wonder if it'll fit the STi turbo manifold?

I suggest a new exhaust. The one on there looks a tad restrictive. It should give you a little more low end grunt and nicer sound. As far a cheap mods that are really worth it I cant think of any, but the Subaru motor will take well to what ever mods you throw at it. Do you have a 5sd or auto?

Thanks for the link ldelaysionl! Ill check into the swaybar idea.
The car is an auto, I bought it for the wife and she didnt want a 5-speed. We are getting ready to move about 45 minutes from the city we both work in , so it was time to get something more reliable and with AWD for winter use, it came down to the ford escape or a subaru and my wife chose the subaru, so we traded the civic in on it. And since we where finally both out of school, and the cobra was paid off it was affordable to upgrade. I have always likes the subarus, well at least the Imprezas. Wouldnt ever trade my cobra for one though, but have thought about selling it and getting into one of the Factory Five racing kits.........

Sharp looking little car I wouldn't stand so close to the car next time you take a picture of its badging - makes you look like a distorted alien.
