Unhappy Have you ever been bitten?

I was just wondering if anyone else has had bite incidences like me.....?

personally, i have been bitten to many times to count by birds, dogs, cats, and even a trutle...which are all a product of working at an animal clinic....oh, and i can't forget my little sister who use to take chunks out of my arms........sisterly love...what can i say.....(she has nothing to do with the clinic ).

I've been bitten a few times. Once by a friend's cockatoo!! I narrowly escaped having my ankle mauled by a vicious dog. I’ve been bitten by wasps and stung by those horrible stinging jellyfish that are such a wonderful prominent feature of the great Australian beaches!! but that's about it other than the various scratches and play bites received by our cats!

I was thinking this was more of a metaphorical question - like bitten by the love bug or something like that. Oh well. Like most people, I've been chewed on by cats, dogs, guinne pigs and (when I was a tyke) kids.

I forgot, also been bitten by rabbits. Apparently when I was a baby (not that I remember) we had pet rabbits and I stuck my hands into the cage and the rabbits thought that my fingers were nice, juicy carrots. Apparently I got bitten pretty bad. We never had pet rabbits again after that.

I got my hand chewed up by a neighbor's dog when I was 7. That earned me a trip to the ER and the dog a week at the county pound under quarrentine...no tags.

When I was 14 I was gonna ride a friend's horse. When I went to put on his bridle he put up a fight with the bit. Then he turned and grabbed me by where my collar bone is and sank in his teeth...then he kicked me down and tried to stomp on me. A trip to the round pen and a few cracks of the whip (not on him) straightened his attitude. I however was sore for weeks.

wow that's weird!! horses are usually really calm and they don't bite or try to hurt humans. Maybe the horse was messed in the head cause normal horses wouldn't do that they might bite you by accident like if you're feeding them

hmmm you clearly know as much about horses as you do about women.

Iv been niped by a Horse, a pony, and several angry goats.
When I was about 4 I got bitten in the face by my Grandmothers dog, he was very deaf, and I startled him. I still have a VERY fiant scar on the top of one cheek.
and of course Iv had plenty of playful bites from the cats.

in response to someone's question: never been bitten by a dog.

Only serious bite was when I was a little 'un, my mother ( a biology teacher) brought home a couple of rats, and one of the bastards bit me in between my thumb and forefinger.

Other than that, many many little bites and scratches from all my cats over the years.

........and when Vampi takes over.....
