Well, unfortunatly I can't say I own a Chevy muscle car... yet. I'm working on a Z24 to make it a nice sport compact for one of the idiotic gits than run around in this county, and after I sell it, I'm looking at an 88 Monte Carlo for sale. It's got a 350, and is in great condition, but me and the girl(surprisingly) are really good friends, so she's willing to let it go for 3 grand, b/c she knows I love it like my own child. My friend Tommy's got a 70 Nova SS with a blown 426, and my boss at work is working on an 81 'King Rat' Vette for street and strip use. Jealous of them both, but once the MC is in my hands, couple months and they'll all be blushing.

88 Monte Carlo

I always liked the late '80s Monte Carlo. There is something so cool in their styling and you have to like their V8. The engine responds well to simple mods too, so you should be competitive against those other Chevys.

I have a 4 door cutlass with a chevy engine in it. So tech i have a chevy

Anyway

ZZ430 that runs 12.6@110 on true street tires.

My car last year ran a best ofd 12.92 off bottle on street tires > and a [email protected] on street tires with bottle hitting the nitrous in second. Talk about wheel spin.
Since the tuning this year I would expect to run 11's with the bottle even on street tires. since I ran 3 tenths faster than last year

Time slip at http://www.carbonfibrefx.com/index2.htm which is my company as well

Regards

Duane

Re: Welcome Chevrolet muscle car fans!

My mother's first car was a beautiful '70 Chevelle SS454. I'm here to lean about the classics as I want to get one as a daily driver when I go completely show on my Eclipse.

A. A 454 chevelle would NOT be a fuckin daily driver... it eats gas like a motha fuckaaa, it'd probly be faster than any riced out eclipse unless you replaced everything in it, and also, if you spent that much on eclipse upgrades you shoulda gone with the chevelle to start , me myself am partial towards camaros, slick sleek and sweet, 68 preffered, but i love chevelles and corvettes as well, one color is a must for muscle cars BLACK but yeah, muscle just plain old roars, one of my friends has got a 67 camaro ss and he did everything to it, changed the tranny to a 6 speed, it seems like it should tear a hole in the road with that roar of the engine and hearin the tires squeel is a godly feeling, i love drivin that car, GET A ROLL CAGE THOUGH

Re: Welcome Chevrolet muscle car fans!

I'm new here but I'm glad you have a section for Chevy muscle cars. My biggest problem is finding my way around all the different areas on this forum. There is an area that is just for muscle cars and an area for Chevrolet muscle cars and there is an area for just Chevelles.
