16.2-16.5 varying on the driver... My saturn ran a 16.3 (i hate auto...) at the tracks. On the street I ran an early 90's 240SX and I just BARELY beat him.

Saturn beat a 240

Did you have any mods and did he have an auto also? Did he even know he was racing?

At the time, just intake and cat-back exhaust, with my wonderful leaking tranny! He was completely stock with manual. A manual S series DOHC saturn will run a mid to low 16 stock, with intake and exhaust most run high 15's. Having a plastic car that weighs nothing does have its benefits.

Hmmm, I wonder if my car could take yours lol. I got a bone stock 98 Cavalier. 260k miles and it still drives great. No major problems other than radiator troubles...but the garage I go to messed up and put the green stuff in rather than dexcool when the fluid was changed (all GM's after like 96 need it I think...). Oh well, I hope it's good once I get it back from the shop. Else I'll be walking until I get my 240.

I know that I can hit 60 in second gear in my car, so that's believeable. I haven't tested it flat out yet from a standing start though, seeing as I've only had it for 3 weeks. That's another reason why I love the S14 over the S15. I heard that the S15 requires 2 gear changes to hit 60, whereas my S14 only requires 1, so with the difference in weight and power, they run very similar 0-60 times.
