All Civic/Integra Guys 1:1 B16 Ref pics!!

Since I have A B16 in my civic I thought I would shoot some pics to help you guys out with detailing these motors. The JDM B16 (That I have in my car) looks very similiar to the ITR motor found in Revells kit so you can use these for that as well. I tried to show off the engine bay showing what all parts were left out during the design process. by the way, the gapping hole in the left side of the engine compartment is where my AC sat before I ripped it out for the swap. Who needs a power robbing device like AC anyway! anyway I hope these help you guys out.

All though a dark pic, this shows the thermostat housing that the lower raidiator hose (left out of kit) conects to.

This one shows the master cylinder and surrounding area.

Feel free to post any questions about the pics or if any others are needed to help you out.

Thanks!

The scary part is, I know what most of that stuff is...

Just one Q. Is the firewall painted black from the factory?
Ok 2 (lol) Is the chassis (excluding the suspension) body color?

The firewall is actually the body color, mine is just dirty, the chassis is originally semi-gloss black if I remember correctly, of course as soon as you drive it enough you loose the shine. Now the color is "Muck" black .

Thanks man, not too much on the motor but I will list them:
*DC sports 4-1 Header
*AEM Cold air (Just running it as short ram due to the amount of rain this year)
*Unorthodox racing Crank and alt. pulleys
*Magnicore plug wires
*Denso iridium Ik20 plugs
*Exedy Stage 2 clutch
*GS-R Transmission
*Poly urethane motor mounts
*DC short shifter
*AEM adj. cam gears
*ITR intake cam
*GReddy Evo cat-back exhaust
*Dropped power steering and AC for weight and drag reasons.

Well I guess that is all I have on the motor.

B16, is that del Sol in your sig a converted Modifier Civic? And you can get Japan license tags for $20, it is a fad, ragyu. B16A are fun to drive, but I wont have mine much longer(thats a whole 'nother story!).

No the Del Sol is NOT a modifier (I don't like modifiers anyway) it is a 1/24 Del Sol and 1/25 ITR that I built this kit with, progress is in the forums.
As far as my tag I am not quite sure what "it is a fad, ragyu" means but I work at a performance shop and we sale these so that is why I have one (GMP is the name of the shop)it really helps show it off. Besides nobody around here really knows where to get them so I am a big help to them.

Oh, that Ragyu guy asked what was up with your Japan tag. Alot of people that JDM out theyre car gets used Jap tags, making it a fad. They might not do it alot where youre from, but look at JDMCivic.com, half of them have em.
