Antenna Problems
When I listen to my CD's I can still hear the radio in the background if the CD is playing a quiet passage. Why is this? Everything is grounded like it is supposed to be. Is the antenna wire and corresponding adapter really sensitive? I am using a Panasonic 800U with a wiring harness and antenna adapter.

Audio help
Sounds to me as though the unit in question just happens to be VERY susceptible to RF interference, or it could be a fault with the unit itself. Try first disconnecting the aerial and seeing if it still occurs. Secondly, try (temporarily) wrapping the unit in tin foil then seeing if the phenomenon is still present - if not (or its less noticeable) then you got RF interference. If so, then it sounds to me like a fault somewhere in the source switching section of the preamp. Try this out to at least narrow down the problem. Incidentallyy it is not that unusual in ANY piece of Hi Fi be it domestic or in car to occasionally suffer from this. I once had a domestic amp that would pick up radio through the phono input in certain atmospheric conditions. Tres strange. Good Luck and keep me posted.

Its the radio. It's wicked sensitive. I guess nows the time to get Pana's 7 inch dvd player
