I throw mine down below the e-brake. It sits nice and flat below the handle, and if i turn it sideways it doesn't really slide around or anything. But, it's a very small phone (Nokia 8260), so you may have a little bit more trouble with a larger phone, getting it to fit here. Oh yeah, i also have a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter, that the phone clips, or slides into. I use this on road trips, so my phone stays charged.

I've got a Motorola Startac Timeport, and it sits down in the little "cubby" infront of my gear shifter (manual) on my P10. It works pretty nicely... within reach, but out of the way for driving purposes.

my i1000 Nextel fits snug between the door panel and door handle.

I froze the i1000 i had before by puting in a cupholder that mounts to the air vent. I had ac blasting for hours. Screen cracked.

I have a space below my CD player that it fits in perfectly. Of course, it is an aftermarket kit...

when i put my Motorolla V120c under the e-brake i can never hear the damn thing ring what with my music up to full volume. i dunno... maybe i'm turning into an old deaf man. anyway, i'm trying to figure out a way to somehow mount it to the dash or somewhere around there so when it rings i can at least see the LCD light up.

That thing isnt a cup holder. Its a can holder! I only got three complaints about my car 1) Needs a DET stock, 2) Needs to be lighter, and 3) The POS cup holders. I have had 4 cups fly out of my so called cup holders. One caused a coke flood submurging my back seat floor. But yea back to the point. My cellie goes in my can holder.
