Racing fuel risks?
Are there any potential risks in using racing fuel?
or, for instance, any fuel with higher octane ratings than 93. Would it be worth it to make your own octane booster? How high an octane could you run before it becomes too detrimental on your engine? does it at all? im just starting to research this so anything you guys know would help a lot. |

it all depends on what you have done to your motor.

Racing fuel(100+ octane) will harm emmision parts(cat. 02 sensor) if not burned completely. This will result in major carbon build up & also a complete waste of money for a stock D15. 91-94 octane i dont think will be a problem, but still not really needed.
