3 inch ITR intake without moving battery

Finally finished the install late last night (1:30am) and here's a couple of pics. I needed a bigger intake tube than the 2.25 inch AEM for an Si and I didnt want to move the battery to the trunk...so this is what I did.

Sorry for the quality of the pics...I just took it a few minutes ago (in the dark)...BTW, the battery is a Hawker Genesis 13 lbs

Paid $70 for the battery, $150 for a used (almost new) ITR intake, $5 for the connectors...Made the battery tie down myself (it was my idea and my friend did all the welding) ..

accessories run off of the alternator. maybe if he sat in a parking lot and jammed out on the stereo for a couple hours, but after the car is started, everything runs off of the alternator.

Here's some info on the battery, http://www.hepi.com/genesis.htm . It works pretty good running everything plus my sound system (300 watt amp, 6 speakers and a 12 inch sub). Plus being a sealed battery, I can even turn it sideways or whatever position if need be. Now I have the extra room to put my 6al MSD and external coil...
