Installing Alarm In 1997 328i

How difficult is it/what exactly is involved in installing an alarm w/ keyless entry in a 1997 328i?

dude,

i just installed a keyless entry in my 97 328is. it was easy, even tho im electronicly illiterate. it took me 3 hours, but would only take about 1 now, maybe less. first you take out the glovebox. find the alarm wiring harness (under a buncha wires in the left center.). unclip the harness, and pull it out as much as possible. print off the diagram of the wires from this webpage.

then cut the wires your alarm needs and wire them to the alarm. you may need a positive door lock changer for your keyless entry. make sure it works, then close it all up. its not nearly as hard as you may expect..... if u run into any problems, email me @ [email protected]

Thanks a lot. It may be a couple weeks before I actullay get the alarm, but I'll e-mail if there are any problems.
