1997 328is need info

I just test drove the above car. It appears to be in good shape. 60,000 miles, and has just been serviced. ($1500). Are there any "trouble spots" for this vehicle? How can I tell if it has the sport package or audio upgrade. Asking price is $13,000.
I have only driven a BMW once before, but it feels pretty good. Am somewhat wary of ownership costs (repairs). How much of a concern should this be? The car has an auto trans.
Any info and comments would be MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks.

I have a '97 328i that I'm very happy with.

60,000 seems like low mileage - I have over 80K.

Trouble spots - rear shock mounts break (clunking noise from rear), radiator and thermostat housing (both plastic - get brittle), various electrical bugaboos (brake light switch, window and sunroof motors)

I think the is designation says you have the sport pkg. Don't know about the audio.

Overall, the car is very solid. Maintenance costs are in line with other fine european cars - it isn't as carefree as a Honda, but it's so much more satisfying to drive and own.

Good luck!
