Adding an OEM cd player

I have a 1998 chevrolet pickup that I want to add an OEM cd player but I do not have a harness connection is there some type of adapter that I need or do i need to splice into the existing harness?

There is a short separate harness that runs between the radio and the OEM CD player. If your vehicle did not come with a CD player, you will not have this harness.
