1997 Grand Prix GT

I am looking to get a A Grand Prix,,, then doing mods one by one,, I would like to start with a CAI,, and doing away with the U-bend in the exhaust. Can anyone tell me if the same mods used on the GTP series Grand Prix,, also works on the GT model,, ?? And I know the Throttle Body spacer is used to remove the TB from heat,, But would this spacer have any benifit on a non-turbo model !! And would the smaller crank pully have the same benifits on a non-turbo as it does on the trubo model..

Thanks in advance

Don

No a smaller pulley wont help, though a smaller underdrive pulley and alt pully will help. Most mods for a GTP wont work with a GT thats why the make seperate ones for a GTP and GT. GTP has a l67 engine and GT has a l36 engine style. The TB spacer is worthless on a GT, unless you have NOS, it will do absoulutly nothin but waste your money.
