zc oil pump question
From what I've read, the stock oil pump on the zc engine doesnt pump out enough oil at higher rpms causing a lot of the problems that zc owners experience. Now whats the problem with upgrading to a higher output oil pump. If this is possible, what pump would you use?

Yo!
here is some data for you regarding oil pumps..it doesn't directly answer your Q, but I have been pretty impressed with Endyne's information. http://www.theoldone.com/articles/d_...building_tips/

I put a SOHC VTEC(D16Z6) oil pump in my D16a6, It pumps out alot more oil than my old D16a6 oil pump. Here are the specs:
D16a6 11.6 gallons/minute@6,250RPM D16Z6 11.9 gallons/minute@6,000RPM It was a bolt on process since all D-series stuff is the same.
