I also have the same problem, The remote on my 1999 Grang Vitara is broken and I purchased 2 new remotes from the dealer. How do I go about reprograming my remotes?

I got my remote programed. just in case anyone need help reprogramming they remote, it goes as follows:

(1) find your keyless module ( on the Driverside under the dash). on the module to the right of the wire harness and the left of the LED , is a switch.

(2) turn the key to the on position for 3-5 seconds then back to the off position.

(3) the switch between the wire harness and the LED. using a small screwdriver push down on the switch the Led light will sound and start flashing, press the lock on each remote your programming, wait 5 seconds after the last remote and push down on the switch on the module the flashing tight will go out. pragramming is complete, you can program up to 4 remote.
