my honda knocks more than I knock women

I noticed that my engine has a few knocks...I know it is pretty common and it isn't bad. I was just wondering if in the top end new valves, lifters and rockers will fix the problem.

Is it a knock or a tap. A knocking noise could mean you spun a bearing. A tap means valves need adjusted.

it's probably the valves then. Do you know what tools and how to go about readjusting them would be? Cause I don't really have the greens for ordering new ones. Well I do, but i'm stingy and I like doing things myself.

the valves should be adjust cold every 15K unless V6

You will need:
v/c gasket possible grommets ( good idea anyway)
feeler guage (metric preferred)
Regular Flat blade screw driver
Wrench
sockets
rachects
LONG extension to turn the motor over
Jack
jack stands

raise/support front end & remove drive side tire
remove valve cover
set #1 piston to top-dead-center
loosen lock nut, turn screw until slight drag on feeler gauge
tighten nut & re-check clearance
repeat for #3, #4, & #2 (1-3-4-2)
reassemble & your done

purchase a helmsmanual step-by-step process for doing that among many other useful things.
