97 Tahoe Remote Relay Location

I have a 1997 Tahoe, I went to the local dealer to get a new remote, it works on the open and open rear, but will not lock or unlock all the doors.

I can use the buttons on the drivers door to do everything so I know the locks work.

Does anyone know where the location of the remote relay is located? I have located the button relays but cannot find the remote's. I think it is above the steering column. I need to get to this so I can buy the relay without having the dealer do it for an arm and a leg.

I use a website called www.the12volt.com. They have a LOT of information. They have forums for car audio and car alarms. I bet if you posted this question there you would have an answer back within an hour. This is a very professional and very busy site. I used them to help me install an elaborate alarm on my 1997 camaro and they have wiring diagrams for my 99 tahoe's car alarm. I hope this will help.

I have this same problem with my 97 Tahoe. Did you ever find out how to fix this?
