Passing Smog w/ Check Engine Light On?
Does anyone know if a smog check station will check if you car passes when the check engine light is on. My car is rumming fine but my check engine light is on. Has anyone had something like this?

Well your check engine light has to turn on when you turn your car on then turn off.But no your car will fail if the check engine light is on and stays on even if you pass the smog test.So you should fix it.

just check the blinking light on your ECU. it will tell you whats wrong. then fix it.

hmm shitty, i'll let u know tommorow, i go for a smog test, and mine keeps coming on, i'll tell them its cuz my speed sensors fucked, and also, its gettin done at my work lol
 so i can prolly bribe someone.... or they just wont give a shit. either way, i'll let u know tommorow
