Jdm Prelude
ay i was wondering if you guys could help me out with JDM parts for an '00 lude. its all confusing i dont know where to start. someone just told me to get all the JDM parts but like i dont know what a few of them do. specifically what does the JDM bypass valve body do?? should i get it? and will i need the bypass valve packing if i get the valve body? im also not sure about the intake manifold... why is there 2 parts do i need both? are the manifolds bored bigger then the stock and is it the same bore as the type S throttle body? also one last question.. the JDM exhaust manifold.. is there a bottom part to it or do i just bolt it on to the existing 2-1 pipe?? thanx for your time

1.) Change your gay name
2.) wtf is a JDM bypass valve body? Sounds like turn signal fluid or something... A bypass valve integrates with your air intake for cruising through big puddles. Normally your car would suck in water, which doesn't compress like air does = engine go boom. Instead the bypass valve opens up above the water and sucks in air. 3.) There should only be one part to an intake manifold, unless you're thinking of the throttle body too 4.) The exhaust manifold bolts onto your engine, which should be 4-1 (or 4-2-1). Most JDM emf's are 4-1 though, leaving no "bottom part." If it's 4-2-1, then the 2-1 pipe connects to the 4-2 pipe. I'm a little confused what you're asking there. |

yea i know its a gay name but i got it like 3 years ago. how do i change it? i guess i should be alittle more specific with my questions anyways if you goto ardperformance scroll to the bottom it shows all the type s prelude stuff. it shows 2 parts for the intake manifold. the exhaust just shows a 4-2 pipe theres no 2-1 pipe.. i guess i just connect it to the existing 2-1 pipe???
