for Tamiya acrylic i use about 3:1 with about 17-18 psi. works great. except for X-18 semi-gloss black which i use like 5:1 cus is gets kinda spotty from the thinner. actually i use Humbrol 85 for semi-gloss black. its enamel but looks more realistic for chassis and other parts that should look metal. i use X-18 for interior work though, looks more like vinyl. hope this helps. oh and for Tamiya clear colors use like 2:1.
