Question 1994 RX-7 kit

I was wondering whether anyone could tell me if there is a model specifically of the 1994 RX-7?
I have a friend looking for a model of one to build a model of his track car but I can't find a model of one, only of the 1993 RX-7.

If you can tell me yes or no and if 'yes' who makes it, I would appreciate it.

Thanks fellas.

Lightbulb May not be of much help but...

Hi Ray. Perhaps Erix's RX-7 site can be of help?

Were there significant changes between 93 and 94?

That's a good question Jay

I don't know, I am not really a Mazda fan so don't pay much attention to them, I just know that Dan is being pretty adamant that it's a 1994 model kit, even though he can easily get the 1993 model kit.....

Some people I guess

I think the Tamiya R1 kit would suit him fine. Is his a touring, R1, R2, ...?

the '93 and '94 is basically the same car. no changes were made to it until the '98 model year.

btw,
there are only two versions of it the R1 and the R2 as the touring, not three.
