1/2-3/4ton axles on 2-10blazer

my husband and i are starting the plans to install the 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton
axles under my 85 s-10 blazer 4x4. We were wondering if everybody who has done this would write to us and tell us the problems they had, and what they did to fix it, or overcome it. Right now we have a 3" body lift on it, so we believe we won't need to trim for the transmission. All help would be appreciated, we're not wanting to dive into this without any knowledge because it will be taking away a daily driver for however long it takes to do this. If this helps any, the truck has a 2.8 liter, with front tortion bar suspension. we will be replacing front and rear axles. Preffering a TH350 or 400 tranny & a dana 20 transfer case. We have a 350 out of a 91 full size truck thats going into it.I hope this helps with any questions as to what we're going to do with it.
