Horsepower of the 1.6 liter engine
By far the wimpiest car I ever owned (but I still liked it
 . Does anyone know the horsepower of the 1995 1.6 liter 4 banger engine?

Hmm, Ford didn't offer a 1.6 in North American spec Escorts in 1995. I think they did in 1985, and also in Europe. The Aspire might have had a 1.6 as well, I'm not sure. 1995 Escorts either had a 1.9 in the LX, or a 1.8 in the GT and LX-E. The 1.9 has 88 hp, the 1.8 is ~117 hp.

duh....
I wish it was a 1995. It was indeed a 1985 Ford Escort with a 1.6 liter. Sorry about that. Any idea on the horsepower for an '85?
