I've used baking soda. I paint the areas I want to look like carpet with gloss paint (any color will do although I usually use the color I want the carpet to be when finished, gloss paint because it dries slower than flat paints and thus gives more time to finish the carpeting) and then (while the paint is still wet) I sprinkle baking soda on. After the paint is dry I shake off the excess soda and airbrush the areas with flat paint. I can post a picture later so you can see it looks quite nice and realistic.

I use those black cloth used for polishing leather shoes. The look like carpet to me, with a felt-like texture.

Here's two pictures of interiors where the soda flocking method has been used. Both are still unfinished, but the carpet is like that with a finished interior too.

Thanks for the nice tip mel but just one question the first interior you posted is(I'm pretty much sure but...) from Fujimi Koenig 928?
If that's the case could we have more pics please???

Yes, it's a Fujimi 928 but it's the standard GT-version, not Koenig. What kind of pictures would you like to have? I've finished the body, but interior and chassis need still some painting & finishing.
