Dc Sports ceramic coated. Get the 4-2-1 if you are doing alot of stop and go driving and don't get into the ypper rpm alot. Get the 4-1 if you do alot of highway driving or get into the upper rpm alot

People, you need to stop giving advice without having a clue of what your talking about. When somebody asks about which header is better dont say this one or that one because everyone else has them or because they look cool. I am trying to find a good header for my car, I remember reading somewhere on this forum there was an internet site, with dyno results of about 10 different headers. If I want to know which one is better I will keep looking for that website, not listen to what people have to say with no proof. If I remember right the best ones where spoon and jun (dont remember which was first and second) but what a surprise... the most expensive headers give you the most power... I guess you get what you pay for.

To answer your question, 4-1 headers are good for top end power, for example drag racing since you will be running each gear all the way to redline. 4-2-1 or tri-y headers are good for power through out the rpm range. This is good for a daily driven car, or for what I want it: road racing, where you want to have mid range power for when your coming out of that corner. Im no profesional either, but I hope that helped somewhat. Ceramic vs stainless steal, I dont know a whole lot but I can say ceramic coated will keep the engine bay cooler due to its heat transfer characteristics, and stainless I guess will last longer, doesnt rust, and IMO looks cooler, even after it "changes colors" due to the heat.

Well i suggested the JDM header cause it puts out more power then what the others mentioned! IMO i would NEVER pay that kind of price that jun and spoon header be askin for. Thats just not right. I think DC sports or the real authentic JDM header is the best way to go. ITs half as cheap then jun or spoon and its performs just as good or good enough.

Ahaaaa!! I found it. Here are the results of dyno test for a few popular headers performed by Automotive Performance Engineering. And sorry to say, but the JDM ITR header puts out the least HP. Hope this helps, sure helped me.
Ofcourse I cant say that I would rely 100% on these results, but it gives you an idea of whats out there.

OK he knows his shit because he found results???

Anyways SMSP header is rated the best but like i mentioned before i wouldn't pay that much for a header. Why buy used? I think i'm just gonna stick with dc jdm header.
