17 Silverado Transmission Problem

We ran our 17 Silverado through the automatic car wash today and when we tried to pull forward it wouldn’t move. Shut it off and restart then it would drive normal for a couple of minutes then after coming to a stop it won’t move until you restart again. 125,000 miles never been apart.

Did the wash include an underflush?

Yes the car wash does include an underwash. I pulled the pan off and found metal flakes so apparently it is time for a rebuild.
Thanks

Re: 17 Silverado Transmission Problem

That was most likely a coincidence, having nothing to do with the car wash.

Is that a 6T80? There seems to be a rash of those with issues, but I thought that those were resolved by 2017.
