Does anyone now what color the PIAA super plasma bulbs burn? Yellow or Blue?

Neither
I don't think they have any color? I didn't want any of those ugly colored bulbs!!! Mine are just white....better than the stock 9004 bulbs!

Do the bulbs burn hot enough that i would have to replace the stock foglight lens?

Foglights?
At first I thought you were talking about the headlights?
Xterraparts.com "highly" recommends you get the glass lenses if your going to use the PIAA bulbs. Most people just buy the 1500's cause the stock Nissan foglights aren't waterproof. There are several threads on this on XOC and Voy forums too.

super plasma are a bright purple/bluish color. i'd say stick with the superwhites but thats just my opinion.

Dude, don't waste your money!
Enough people have already been down that road that we all know it's a very bad idea. You will get the glass lenses and spend big bucks on the bulbs only to realize that the stock lights still suck ass and since they aren't sealed your expensive and sensitive bulbs blow within a month or two if not sooner. The smart way to go is just buy the PIAA 1500 XT's and be happy if you want to replace the factory fogs and use the stock location.
