wheel locks
I was wondering about this....I have a set of wheel locks for my rims, and from my understanding the only way you can take them off would be to use the key and a pneumatic wrench. My question is then...if i ever get a flat tire.. I would not be able to take off the rims and put on the spare myself...and furthermore, a tow truck would not be able to either because they dont have pneumatic wrenches, do they? Has anyone else gotten a flat with wheel locks on their rims? What did you do?

If your lock key has a hex on the end then you could just use a socket. If it has a 1/2" drive square hole, then use a sliding t-bar or strong arm. I've never heard of needing a windy-gun before for wheel lock keys.

Yup I have the McGards Tuner lugs and locks. I've taken my wheels off so many times last summer it's not even funny. No impact wrenches needed. You shouldn't tighten the lugs with an impact wrench anyway, ALWAYS use a torque wrench.

exactly, as above, just need a regular wrench to do/undo the lock lugs.
