Are you on crack??? do you realize that this is a Hyundai accent area??

But..... go for the SR20DET if you can afford it, if not keep the KA.. it has loads of torque..

No do the 240 community a favor, and DONT get a 240...dont need anymore ricers who just figured out there moms 4dr civic was slow and decided to get what SS and SCC say to get. Oh yeah, turbo blow up my engine, that statement can go for any engine that was never turbo preped from the factory.

Just from the way your post was written, you sound like you know noting about cars except what you have seen in magazines. GO SEARCH for info. You say you want to do these swaps, but i doubt you have any knowledge on it, do you know what to look for when buying an engine? You didn't even give your price range!

If you decide to get a CA, do you know someone who can source parts if something on the engine goes out?

If you dont give a price range, I could suggest an RB, you would probably try it too.

Not every friggen 240sx, Civic or what not is riced out. Civics are 99% but i never see a 240 riced out. Only reason im not gonna flame you is because you drive a toyota.

Re: 240 SX Engine

k, the stock internals on a ka can handle around 7 psi, which is alright i guess, but if you wanted to you could rebuild the engine, and tune it for turbo. there are some 240's riced out, for instance, mine, but i bought it like that, so its not my problem, and im doin mods as soon as i get $, real mods. ummm... btw INEEDACAR, civics are the most popular ricing cars, moms dont generally buy them, in fact, i see maybe 2 moms driving civics in my 15000 pop city, any maybe 200 kids at the least. my suggestion to you, is buy the 240 if you can afford it, they have some problems, only minor, but they do exist. and do some more reading up on it, it really helped me in my case.

ahem, mod, move this to 240 forum...

I agree with tibby01 i think the hyundai board could use it's own moderators, i'd be up for it i moderate our 4x4 website and this one doesn't really need more than a clean up sometimes.
