red/clear tails

Ok, ignore all the other crap on the page besides the taillights... does anyone know if these ones are any good? I have read in old posts about some that aren't the normal red color, or the clear part will turn yellow, etc... I want to get a set of red/clear tails for my car but I don't want to end up with a crappy set.

Make all red corner lamps...they look good I have them on my car. Like the inner clear will still be clear but the whole outer half will be red. You can use stock tails and save some money, it should cost you about $5 and two hours work (including drying time). If you like this idea let me know, I'll tell you what you need. I was gonna go the red&clears way but I wanted to make my own and not pay 100 bucks for some tailights that might have the problems you stated.

YES!!!! Thats it... how did you know I was looking to make my car look cool like the one in the picture you sent??

Just because your car looks stock except for your all amber front corners doesn't mean everyone else has to make their cars look the same. And since when do altezzas look like red/clear tails? I don't know if you need to check the perscription on your glasses or what but if you would have clicked on the link of the page I put in my initial post you would have seen the tails I was talking about.

Or is that rice too?

Take it easy drama queen. I've actually had the red and clear tails and the all red tails. I was just stating my opinion and making a joke. Now take my used toilet paper and wipe off your tears.

I don't know... there is something kinda sexy about using a set of 88-98 GMC/Chevy truck tails on an import sedan...

You know there are two parts to a 95 civic taillight right? Well you leave the inner one the same (with half red/half clear) and you cover up the amber part of the outer piece with red. Since there is still amber under the red coat of paint your turn signals will be brighter...i think it looks good but I guess you'd have to try it on some junk stock tails (if you have any around).

I like the JDM taillights...I used to have the half red/clear but the red started to fade on the inner lights so I went with the JDM ones.
