There is a tool called the Dremel tool it basically is a small hand held cutter/chainsaw. Just take that and cut the amber piece inside into smaller pieces then remove the amber piece. Take your time as the chrome inside the tail light is easily scratched. Good luck

i tried cutting it into pieces and it got to be a pain, so i took my dremel and cut a hole in the side of the turn signal chamber then just pulled the plastice orange piece out, i have yet to reseal it back up. i only cut like three sides making a kind of door type thing. it hasn't had anycodensation problems or bulbs burnouts yet.

i used a soldering iron to get mines out. it took alot of time and patience, cause you have to be careful not to melt anything except the amber part. It does look really nice though, it's worth the effort.

it pretty easy, heres a pic. you need to cut out a kinda door thing (blue highlighted), only three sides and the uncut side acts as a hinge. now look on the top and bottom of the blinker section on the back and you'll see orange tabs, break those off, then open up the hole you cut and use needle nose pliars to pull out the orange thing, it might take a little bending to get the thing out but you gotta do it. then close up the hole you cut out and seal it if you want. i didn't seal mine and i haven't had any problems. oh yeah, vacum out the plastic bits from cutting the hole
hope this helps.

gtig ri of ambers

Thanx guys. I was thinking about taking those out a few monthes ago but i wasnt so sure about how. i thought about breaking them but i wasnt sure how i would go about doing that. i forgot about the dremel. i just got done cutting them out and i love it. it looks pretty sweet I found that if you cut them horizantally (the long way so that it goes across the front and up the middle of the sides) that all you will really need to do is cut them in half and slide them right out. just make sure you stay as close to the middle as possible. Well i just thought i'd tell ya that. Thanx again. oh also be caurful o rubbing up against the part where the bulbs are screwed in. a little bit shouldnt hurt but be carful.
