Does anyone know about the Stage 1,2,or 3 Thunderbird?
Hey,
I'm not sure about this, but my father, who owns a 93 LX, told me that theres a guy in the states, that can get your STOCK 3.8L, in which you have 3 Stage options, 1, 2, or 3. Stage 1 being the cheapest, and 3 the most expensive. Supposidly his 'birds run 10's on stock rubber, and the front end up. Also, these are just engine mods, no suspension or wieght. I think that with suspension mods and lightening, slicks, and the front wheels down, they should do low-9's, and maybe even high 8's. Has anyone else heard of this guy? If so, does he have a website? Thanks, Christer |

don't mean to bring up a dead topic, but the man you're referring to is Coy Miller. he tunes supercoupes. there's no way you can get the 3.8na in the birds to run 10 seconds.
however, if you have an SC and deep enough pockets (read: 8 grand), you can get a stage 2 tune from Coy. Coy's pesonal car ran an 11.17, or something close, a little while ago. http://www.coymiller.com
