I had european code headlights on my Volvo that had this sharp cut off that went across untill the center than went up at 15 degrees. They were the bright and precise and I could see at night.
On my G20, the lights suck. I think that bulbs would help, but I think the entire housing needs to be replaced with a good european light fixtures. Are the headlights on european models different than my current ones? Any pics, experiece, etc. would be helpful.

Yes, the housings will be different if they are from a European country that drives on the left hand side of the road. The will shine a different beam pattern off to the left side, as that's off the road for them, and here in the US, that will blind oncoming traffic. If that makes sense

Yeah I understand that. But there are plenty of countries in Europe that drive on the right side of the road (like every country except UK.) I was looking for those headlights hoping they are better than the NHTSA crap we get.

My guess is Germany? I think another G20 owner was looking into them, but i don't know how far he got with that.

Get a HID conversion, it has been done, and will improve the lighting...I think the P10 has decent lights tho.

HID for sure. Huge increase in lighting, and about same price as importing headlights.

you could also have your head lights reaimed, so they face where you want them to. all you need is a screwdriver.

"you could also have your head lights reaimed" doesn't make any sence. My headlights are aimed corectly, but there is just a blob of light out front. Looks like no one has ever riden with e-code headlights. Oh well.

well, the way the beam goes, is that the right headlight goes straight, and the left headlight tilts right. If you positioned the left headlight to go straight, you'd get a wider beam pattern.

ohh, I see. hmm, I dunno know bout G20 headlights, but in mine, I got this little piece that covers the bulb, and I guess inhibits light. maybe if I took it off, there'd be a better beam. you know the pice I'mt alkin bout?

AHH!!! don't take that off. That would make it worse.
I know that not having a g20 might make it difficult to understand but there should be plenty of people over in europe that have a p10 and could help me. Where are you?

For the price of what it would cost for someone to import them for you, you could prolly get an HID kit.

Yeah that but that would put bright white light in the same place as it is now. E-code plus HID, that would be the ultimate setup but just plain e-code would be a lot better than anything you could do to the US version.
