Ya, I heard something about that except it was like 4 months ago. They are turning it into a sports car and it looks ultra cool form the picture I saw. I almost looks like a Buggatti but BMWish. It is supposed to e availble in sveral models and prices are expected to be half the cost of a 456 GT/M. I guess BMW is realy going high end.

Yeah, I saw pics and it looks pretty cool. They said they might even make an M6 if the 6 series does well. An M6 would be sweet!

An M6 would definately be sweet...any addition to the //M fleet in BMW is good. Im pretty sure that is the concept for the 6 series. I think it looks pretty damn sweet, but i cant really see a thread in the design to the origional 6er. Does anyone know what kind of engine might be going in this thing?

yeah i also heard it's gunna be a sports car... they were talkin about making it, aswell as making a 2-series

I hope they don't make a 2-series, that would ruin BMWs reputation as being a superior car
