Squeaking Noise/ help?

I am a newbie here and I have been having issues with my car and found this site. I drive a 99 mustang V6. Lately it has been making a squeeking noise around the right front wheel when i make left turns. The noise is not very loud and i haven't been able to figure out where exactly its coming from or whats causing it. I do not think it is my brakes, the usual cause for sqeeking, because me hitting the brakes doesn't affect the sound in any way. I had a look at my car today and could not find any place that wasn't getting greased or anything like that. I also checked the lugnuts on my right wheels to make sure they were tight. Any ideas as to what may be causing this little squeak??

well, seeing that its hard to pin point it out off the web, i could take a guess that it could have to do with your suspention, the front right shock perhaps. or it could have something to do with the steering, i dunno like i said its way to hard to pin point it just by reading it on a message bored, hope it helps

You live in Ohio? I just drove through Ohio the other day, too bad I didn't have a computer with me to check this site, or I could have helped in person. Like rerun said, its hard to determine squeaks and noises over a computer. But look at the little stiff, wheel hub bearings, tie rods, grease fittings, breaks. could be a number of things.

I have squeky noises too, but I have a slightly older model. Maybe's it's just Ford Mustangs! I have a 68 coupe and it makes squeaky noises whenever I drive, especially over bumps. Let me know if you figure out what it is. Check your springs/shocks.

Squeaks you could be a million things. It's so tough to figure out over the net. If nothing when you look at the car screams at you I need to be changed or greased. Questions to think about would be how many miles have been put on the car since this was replaced(Shocks, Struts, Wheel bearings, Endlinks, etc..,). A lot of times its just a pure process of elimination when it comes to squeaks on suspension stuff.

My brothers 94 GT squeacked really bad from the passenger front wheel whenever you would turn the steering wheel or hit a bump. We though it was the ball joint, but befor we changed it out I took my wifes stethoscope and listend at each joint in the front end as my brother would bounce the car. The squeak ended up comming from the outer tie-rod end. Its best to try to narrow the source, fooling with the various front end parts can be a pain.
