Help me remove the oil pan

I am working on a 2000 Cadillac Truck Escalade V8-5.7L. I am in need of some help on getting this oil pan off so I can get the gasket on.
I am using alldata and it tells me to Remove the engine mount through bolts to remove the oil pan so far this has not helped as the pan blocked by the differential. I dont want to take the whole front end apart if I can avoid it.
If you could tell me (photo or video) what engine mount through bolts will magically let me get this pan off that would be great!

Re: Help me remove the oil pan

Welcome Aboard!

I haven't been in Maricopa County since about 2007. I'll be it's changed.

What hasn't changed is that the engine mount through-bolts are removed to allow the engine to be raised to remove the oil pan. A portable crane or lifting fixture will be needed to raise the engine sufficiently to allow the oil pan to clear the differential and rod caps at the front and oil pump pickup and trans bell housing at the rear.

Here is what the service manual indicates:

Remove the oil level indicator tube.
Raise the vehicle.
Remove the engine oil and the engine oil filter.
Remove the oil filter adapter.
Remove the starter.
Remove the engine mount through bolts.
Raise the engine

Caution!
Raise the engine only to the height required to provide clearance. It may be necessary to drain the cooling system and disconnect hoses to avoid damage when the engine is raised. Be careful that control linkage and wiring are not damaged from raising the engine.

Support the engine with a suitable brace or hoist. Do not load the engine mounting.

Caution!
Raise the engine to allow sufficient clearance. Distributor damage results from interference between the rear of the engine and the dash panel.

Remove the oil pan.
Note the location of any studs to assist reassembly.
Remove the engine oil pan and the oil pan gasket.
Clean all the sealing surfaces.
