Popping noise

2002 Saturn SL
I had my outer tie rods replaced. Took it to a shop to find out what else I needed, I replaced the struts, motor mounts, and control arms/ball joints. Bought new tires and had an alignment done. Before the alignment, after starting to roll in reverse I would hear a pop noise in the front. Everyday it got worse until the alignment which then it stopped. It's been a week since then and now there is a pop noise that seems to be something to do with steering. Doesn't happen in reverse anymore, but mostly if I turn the wheel while going very slow or sometimes if the transfer from driveway to road has a little ditch in it, it will pop. Only if I am turning at the same time though. Any ideas what to check?

Re: Popping noise

Were the upper strut mounts/bearings replaced with the struts?
